A Suitcase Design Concept Inspired By 2020 Pantone

This design concept targets young customers who loves to travel. Using 2020's color pantone, this collection is set to be released during summer.

These bright and colorful products will surely lighten up your mood and help your suitcase be more stand-out from the crowd.

DESIGN PROCESS:

BASIC | YOUNG | JOYFUL

The main point of the design idea is to create two bodies of color within a single suitcase, using White + One Color formula. The shape of the suitcase is rather basic, with simple, round curves and fillet at all sides, no special texture on the surface to shift the focus more on the colors.

COLOR SELECTION vs. FURTHER EXPLORATION

There are different versions of the 2020 Pantone, according to various color trend sites. Therefore, to select which colors would be suitable, customers' opinions and data analysis were collected.

This concept can be further expanded into a collection of a much wider range of products. With suitable fabric (carefully selected to match the color of the paired suitcase), a chain of soft-goods and travel accessories can be made correspondingly.
