A Transparent Suitcase Design Project
DESIGN STORY:
TRANSPARENT | YOUTHFUL | MODERN
Those would be the words to fully describe Rovigo Glassy. The idea was to try something new with the available plastic at hand. See-through suitcases? Why not?
They would certainly be perfect for Fashionistas - Bold and Brave people who like something a little bit more striking and different.
DESIGN PROCESS:
SIMPLE | BASIC | STRAIGHT-FORWARD
The process began with basic shape sketching. The brief was simple - not much should be done considering the overall shape of the suitcase. The main focus would be where to place the logo and the word "STYLE" on the front.

MATTE vs. PURE
There are two versions of the Rovigo Glassy. One with matte plastic and one with clear same said material. This gives customers more choices, whether to be more "mysterious" about what they are showing through their suitcase.
The thickness and texture of the shell are different between the two versions, that is something should be taken into consideration during the design process.
